didn't leonard little actually kill someone after running them over with his car while driving drunk?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes. Craig MacTavish, (current head coach of the Edmonton Oilers, long time NHL player) also killed someone while drunk driving. he served 1 year in prison.

I guess you could call these "accidents" which is different than Vick's case, but the damage done was much worse.

[/ QUOTE ]
Didn't Little get a second DUI, or maybe the murder was his second DUI? Ah, I see here, he was arrested but not convicted for one six years after the killing. Still he should have been suspended for 1 year for that, inexcusable, remember this is the NFL where arrest = guilty.
Actually Little's crime was way worse and I would have no problem if vick got 4-8 games (yes he is probably guilty) and LL was still out of the league.

this talk of vick serving only 6 months is absurd. if he pleads right now it's about 2 years minimum, he'll be 30 when he gets out, and he's main asset, his speed, will be significantly decreased.

if they're adding racketeering charges against him (which may well explain why the other 2 D's reached plea agreements) that gets bumped up to at least 6 years+

[/ QUOTE ]

If I were Vick...I'd be like adios USA and pull a Polanski.

what odds will you give me that he spends less than 365 days behind bars when this is all over?

The odds just improved. ajc.com is reporting that Vick will plea out and it will be announced later today.

As part of his plea will Ron be able to blame his WRs for getting him into this mess?

After all, it's because they couldn't get open or catch a pass that probably lead him to get thrills from dogfighting rather then football. Obviously, the OL and poor play calling is also to blame.

6 months has been a pretty standard plea for dogfighting charges.

considering they have him dead to rights as it appears.
and he'll get out early for good behavior.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't get at least 1 year min.

My guess is a 2 year sentence but serve less than a year. Then 2-4 years probation.

Don't see this posted anywhere:

Vick sued for $63 Billion Dollars

Hard to find a quote to appreciate the full insanity of the story:

...The complaint goes on to allege that Vick sold the dogs on eBay and “used the proceeds to purchase missiles from the Iran government.”

The complaint also alleges that Vick would need those missiles because he pledged allegiance to Al Qaeda in February of this year.

“Michael Vick has to stop physically hurting my feelings and dashing my hopes,” Riches writes in the complaint...
