I will arrive Thursday Aug 30th. Six of us pitched in for a 3br 2ba condo overlooking the gulf. I only live 2 hours away so this is always a fun stop

Hello all,
I am ready to go. All the prep work is done, and we are just waiting to set up the ballroom and get the cards in the air. Everybody here is looking forward to a first class event. I played 18 holes at Fallen Oak, the golf course owned by Beau Rivage, and it was awesome. I shot 76 last week in Tunica, and shot 92 at Fallen oak this week. Very Difficult course. 6600 yds from the second set of tees.

We have on site rooms available from Sept 3rd through the 10th. Come on down to Biloxi and see us. You'll love it.

JG

Hi guys,
Sorry about my lack of posts, I am actually on property at the Beau right now in meetings re the Tournament. This place rocks, and we have some fun stuff planned, including a privately sponsored MVP award that gives a 10K seat to our CP points winner. The structures will be as follows:

$300 events get T2500 and 40 minute levels
$500 events get t2500 and 50 minute levels
10 K event is same as bellagios 4 day structure

$200 evening event is t2000 and 30 minute levels
$500 Mega is t2500 and 30 min levels
$1000 Mega is t3000 and 40 minute levels

singles are 1 and 2 winner varieties, with buy ins from $65 up to $200, and a $1060 for the ME

Blind structure is as follows.

25-25
25-50
50-100
100-200
100-200 25
150-300 25
200-400 50
300-600 75
400-800 100
600-1200 200
800-1600 200
1000-2000 300
1500-3000 400
2000-4000 500
3000-6000 1000
4000-8000 1000
6000-12000 2000
8000-16000 2000
10000-20000 30000
etc., same progression as above, just add zeroes.

expecting field sizes as large as 800-1000, we had to make adjustment downward in starting chips (300 event with 800 playersx2500 chips= 2 million in play, event ends at approx 20k-40k level) this event would last 20 levels, which is 800 minutes, which makes for a full day 1 until 2 am, then a 5 or 6 hour final table. Most of my events are a little quicker in the beginning, but slow down as money approaches, and tons of play in the money. Any players here who have played in my events may have discussed this with me, and it's a characteristic of my events that I feel players appreciate once they have played and gone deep in an event.

Feel free to ask questions, as I will try to check in daily and address your issues.

Thanks, and I hope to see you here....
Johnny Grooms

Info on satellites? What times they run? Different buy-in levels? structure?

If anyone has played these before could you describe how they run.

Thanks

Wait, what? Did you just bold answers to your question and then post the question ? If you're serious; A single table satellite generally starts when a table is full. Different buy-in levels are $65-$200, and up to $1060 for the main event. They run by a dealer that shuffles a deck of cards, and gives 2 to each player at the table.

On a serious note, what are you asking? (specifically)
