Buying in with credit card

Going to play in the Bellagio Cup and hopefully a couple of $1,500 WSOP events. Can i buy-in using my Amex when I get there? I've always just paid cash when i play in tourneys. Possibly a dumb question.

I do no THINK you can. Thought it would be nice for the points/miles. Maybe you could use those checks that your (or at least my) credit card company seems to send every month.

Wanted to use the AMEX for convenience MrFizzbin. In terms of amounts that sounds like a standard monthly AMEX bill for me, which i pay off promptly every month. Thanks for your concern though.
