Im just in a bad mood and felt like complaining. You are right, and Nat seems to be very reasonable. I just don't like the fact that this concept was even considered. Im sure Nat will make the right decision here. But, this stuff happens elsewhere, just go to pocket5's and read threads. Again, sorry for the rant earlier. But it's that time of the month on my poker cycle

Gary,

That was the right decision.

Now, in one of your post you said:

THIS IS CURRENTLY BEING DONE BY MANY PEOPLE. MANY PEOPLE OFFER GHOSTING SERVICES. THERE ARE 2 SPECIFIC "SCHOOLS" OUT THERE THAT I KNOW 100% OFFER THIS AS A SERVICE.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would like to know more about that; which "schools" are those?

All,

I think it's very important to know what exactly it's going on in this matter.

For 10% of one's NEXT tournament score, I will teach anyone how to blow a big stack on the bubble. PM me.

Why the hell does anyone who makes it down to 4 or 5 tables need this "service"?

yea, anyone who makes the FT is obviously a pro!

Not everyone feels confident playing for large sums of money, and many just have no FT experience

When I first started playing tournaments, I was pretty good at accumilating a stack and making it to the final 4 or 5 (or 2 or 3) tables, but I sucked at closing.

Most of what I learned in the meantime came from learning hand values, maintaining and improving my psychological disipline and dedicating myself to learning MTTs. But I also learned a shitload from friends on IM who helped me understand certain aspects of tournament situations while the game was going on.

So, although I wouldn't personally pay for the service, I see why it's useful, and why someone would try to make a business out of it.

It also doesn't seem significantly differnt in nature than the kind of gratis strategy/advice-sharing that takes place 24/7 online, which has been accepted for a long time as ethical.

I take that back actually. Mass-marketting the service creates a whole slew of new issues.
