Default AA- 4bet flop or smooth call

Villain is 29.6/14.8/4/27. He's very aggressive on flop when he hits. I was running somewhere around 18/14/4 and cbetting most flops.

CO ($23.90)
Button ($23.50)
SB ($21.35)
BB ($29.60)
Hero ($27.70)
MP ($5.25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $1.25, 3 folds, SB calls $1.15, BB calls $1.

This is my standard PFR from UTG

Flop: ($3.75) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $1, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB raises to $12.5, Hero ???

Whenever someone donk bets me this small, I raise 3-4x their raise (most times they fold). Even with a PS donk bet- I'd probably raise to $12. His 3bet sort of sucks IMO. Do I 4bet him (likely AI) or smooth call and reevaluate the turn?

first off I think his call preflop range is quite wide, since he seems a bit loose and because SB joined in. Given the pot is going to be so large on Turn and there are alot of draws on this board, which you will not know if it hit him or not, IMHO you have to choose between AI or folding on the flop. Against this player it's close, but given the texture I think raise allin is profitable long run.

Hero calls $8.50.

Turn: ($28.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $13.95, BB calls $8.95.

any thoughts?

I'd just call the $5 and try to draw to the nuts cheaply.

When you say he's aggro on the flop when he hits, do you mean donks small and then 3b 3x or CR PSR or what?

I'm never really sure what to do in these spots.

My default plays would be (in no specific order):

Call and get it in on a blank turn.
Fold to a big bet on the turn when draws hit.
Maybe get it in on this flop if he has a high raise cb%.

Hm, because we have the Ac, any club that hits on the turn is going to mean that we have 3-1, and our hand may be best. So, if we call flop, then we're basically committed to ANY turn card, aren't we (except a J, maybe)? Villain will only have 1/2 psb left, so there's no read to get from villain's betting strength.

If we call the flop, it means we're calling a blank turn or club turn and we're calling to let him bluff off his money.

Don't we have to make our decision on the flop to call intending to call anything on the turn, or fold/push the flop?

Personally, I think I fold the flop 3bet as this is usually the sign of a monster rather than a monster draw -- and again, we have the Ac, which reduces the number of monster draws he can have quite significantly. And, of course, we have AA which halves the range of AJ he could be doing this with.

Unless he's shown some maniac tendencies, overvaluing tptk, or flatting QQ-KK in the blinds, I fold flop.

The flop is definitely fold or shove, i think the four bet is the worst of all of you options because it leaves you with a really tough decision on the turn.

As played I would shove the flop, pf leaves villain w/ too wide of a range to fold this.
