Live at Bellagio 5/10 - a totally standard hand - right?
I've been sitting in the game for a few hours, haven't done that much except talk 2p2 [censored] with ahnuld and Rick305 - Rick's been stealing a lot, raising my raises - anyway, puns aside, this hand completely confused me when I played it. Since it was 3 weeks ago, my memory isn't that good of it.
two limpers to me - I (~$1500) jack it up to 60 or 70 with JJ in MP and get 5 callers, including the limpers - one in position, 4 out of position vs me. Flop is 266 rainbow. First two players check, MP (covers) bets 200, I call, rest of the table folds. MP's a student from U Berkeley and is ordering double Captain and Cokes - he's talking a lot how he's going to play bad. He's shown down a fairly gutsy bluff where he overbet shoved with third pair (and it was good, according to someone who folded). Turn is an 8. He bets 300, I think and call. River is a 2. He bets 500 - I? Comments on all streets appreciated - also I think the twos might have been tens, but I can't be 100% sure. That changes the hand a bit. |

I might just shove the turn. I could see him calling. But if I flat call its to let him continue bluffing on river, so id call the last 500.

he is bettin less than 1/2 pot, you've under repped your hand, although i'd put that hand as a huge part of your range, given river a 2 is very likely, but given your read of the things he'd done, a 6 or a 77, 99-TT, or Ak is totally likely too, but you don't beat much, if the bet is bigger i'd fold, but i don't think i can fold here, but then again this is live andhe limp called PF, his range def include a FH here

I think you could just fold turn here. I know live players = donks most of the time, but it looks like your hand is super obvious, and your being taken to valuetown |

MP leading out on flop is scary to me, and I'd lean towards folding. If MP has seen you folding to pressure quite a bit before this hand, though, I wouldn't fault you for pushing.

against most people i'd fold the turn. worse hands will not lead out again on the turn.

Some relevant questions -
1 - what does Villain think my calling range is on this flop? 2 - would I raise anything on this flop? 3 - is JJ different from AA? 4 - does a 6 really take this line? |

1 - all overpairs 2 - AA maybe KK 3 - Yes 4 - Yes [/ QUOTE ] I guess why we disagree with this evaluation is that I feel that three of your answers are wrong. |
