My favorite scene is when Duvall tries to talk Bana into folding his top set to Duvall's OESFD on the turn. When Bana calls and loses, you're meant to perceive him as reckless, as opposed to acting on the dead-certain knowledge that he is a 2-to-1 favorite.

Am I the only one who didn't think it was as bad as it was made out to be? Yeah it was bad and I will never watch it again but it wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen.

yeah, it wasnt that bad. It was watchable and parts of it were all right. It had its weak areas, but it was ok-ish.

i watched it yesterday and it was really bad. I knew what i was getting myself into but figured i'd watch it anyways. Poker in movies just doesn't work. I wonder if people who don't play poker think it looks as cheesy and dumb when they use those dumb analogies and poker jargon and dumb table talk.
