I'm pretty sure Jc alvarado is Partypsux he's a very good tournament player but is not John Little(FieryJustice).

This is definitely due to variance, not in spite of it as you seem to imply.

i dont think final tabling every tourney you enter can be chalked up to variance

They didn't even play out the tourney. JC offered Jon 4k over what a even chop would be because he wanted the Cardplayer POY points. You can read Jon's blog at sngicons.com.

yea i mean when his ak beats qq allin preflop that is huge skill right there

donkaments are by nature filled with variance, especially at the end with high blinds. He is just riding the good side.

Its not like we are saying hes a bad player, hes just running good too and thats a deadly combo

nevermind, you can't even have an open minded debate if it has to do with a "tournament" player, because it's so cool on here to bash tourney players, and it's all luck, and blah, blah, blah
