Default NL200: Bottom set faces monstrous ReRaise

Had not played with villain before tonight.

This is kind of strange behavior for an UTG limper on this flop. If his intention was to limp/RR pre-flop then he probably has AA, KK, or AK. If he didn't intend to RR and just wanted a cheap flop then his range his pretty large including OESD and nut flush draws.

Only losing to KKK, and TTT can't see myself ever folding here.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($147.35)
UTG :#A500AF(Villain)/ ($161.15)
UTG+1 ($120.55)
Hero ($240.20)
MP2 ($326.70)
MP3 ($50.80)
CO ($165.05)
Button ($194)
SB ($18.45)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG (Villain)/ calls $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $2, 4 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($8) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Villain bets $3, Hero raises to $8, SB folds, BB folds, Villain raises to $162.15 (All-In), Hero ?

if his range is AA/KK its instacall(it gets even better with AK in there)

if its AA, KK, TT QJ[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] its close call

its likely wider than that so get it in

Fist pump insta-call.

Also, raise flop bigger the first time.

Not only is this an insta-call, but the villain limped UTG, which makes it even less likely that he has KK/TT.

FYP. TT is easily in the range of many to limp UTG. Is it likely he's holding TT, well no, but of course it's a possibility.

Notwithstanding, I would be far more comfortable (and probably correct) with a blanket statement that excludes KK from his range, than a blanket statement excluding KK and TT because of an UTG limp.

that's a draw, so sonic-boom call. Expect to see AQ or QJ, I'd say.

Also, please put level in your subject line when posting hand histories.
