btw, this doesn't actually mean that employees have access to your passwords. When a new password is generated on an old account, the person has to be notified somehow, and the phone is the most secure and convenient. Usually they recommend changing it after you're given a new one.
In fact, the fact that he's now been given a new password would indicate that the support person CAN'T see his passwords... There is absolutely no issue here, and people should stop freaking out and use their heads a bit.

[/ QUOTE ] sportsbook sites always have passwords visible on screen for CS, that is how they take telephone wagers and process manual deposits and withdrawals. I believe you can have separate passwords for online and telephone however. I agree that CS should not give PW over chat or phone with such little verification however.

"You pays your dues, you takes your chances." We have to hope that the company will try to deal with this in the best way possible and refund you, because if news like this gets out, the company is destroyed. Reputation is everything.

Even on forums where no money is involved passwords are encrypted. On a gambling site where people have lots of money in their accounts it should be mandatory.
