I\'m getting healthier...
After feeling like crap this past fall, I joined a gym and started the Abs Diet a couple of weeks before Christmas. I have since gotten my weight down to 178 lbs, down from approx. 200-205 lbs when I started (note: I'm 6'1").
I just had my lipid profile run, with the following results, shown as total chol, HDL, and LDL: Fall of '05: 215/42/170 Last week: 164/45/99. In addition, maybe my good fortunes are spilling over into my personal life. I had a first date yesterday with a thin, attractive, professional I had met online. We hung out for over two hours, and although I got a good vibe, I've learned through experience to take nothing for granted. However, a few hours after this first date, I received the following e-mail: Thank you so much for the great walk, the excellent company and conversation, and the hot chocolate and sandwich.
