Grant it he has a pair now and has more outs, 4, J, or any [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for those odds, but Jesus, firs the CALLS a raise for 4x the BB, then he calls a REraise that is 13x the BB with J4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

He came over from the 3/6 game that broke up, this took place like at 4am. He bought into the game with $150... I told him he should be shot.

I deal cards 4 nights a week now. 2/4 and 3/6 Limit, 1/2 No Lim. I am amazed at how people can sit there for 8 hours to only see 250 hands. I am constantly amazed by how Loose/Passive, Passive everyone is.

Watched a guy last night, Limp Re-Raise to $40 at nl200, then call the 4-bet shove Pre-Flop, for a 100+ more, with A4s - the guy that pushed had AKo.

I hear ya machine, we cannot win at foxwoods and lose every big pot we are in. Maybe we should play powerball instead?

this is why live poker makes me want to kill myself. this can all happen online in the first 10 minutes of my session and i can shrug it off, play 5,000 more hands in the next eight hours and finish up a few buyins anyway. when it happens live, i'm stuck sitting there listening to half-retarded jerkoffs discuss superstitions and table games. it's 30 hands an hour and it's full ring. jesus [censored] christ i have no idea how/why 2p2ers subject themselves to this [censored].

i love it because the skill level of 80% of the people there have the skill of a semi decent 25NL or 50NL player at best. and the pot sizes and opening range sizes/bets are equivalent to 400NL.

the variance eats me up though because you have to play pretty damn tight at certain tables so i grind out 200$ 350$ 100$ then drop 600 or 800. blows my mind

I love when in threads like this, the OP ends up like as much of a fish as his opponents.

explain to me why? do you play live? do you know what its like to play live full ring? do you realize you almost never have fold equity at a table and you have to make hands to win pots?

so go ahead and bash me for open limping QJ suited up front, or whatever other point you were alluding to, but its not a mistake in these games.

I don't know why I do it to myself either. 2/5NL on the weekend

Hero: $1000
Villain: $900

Hero picks up AA in middle position.

UTG bets $20, UTG+1 calls, donk (who's re-bought for $1000 twice in 1 hour) bets $100, fold, hero raises to $300... fold to MP1 who calls.

Flop: K, 3, 7 rainbow

donk checks, hero gets oh so tricky and checks.

Turn: 2

donk checks, hero bets $500, donk calls

River: T

donk bets last $100, hero cries and calls.

donk turns over TT, FTW.

Sure, I know "bet the flop". I need to take a break from live play. This [censored] just tilts me way too much.

QFMFT!

And you left off having to listen to the players near you talk about how such and such is in the lucky seat that they are going to get when he leaves, and how they are upset that they didn't call the raise pf with 39s since they would have hit the runner runner flush had they stayed in the whole way.

Even when i win live, i leave on life tilt.
