Default 100 NL: JJ hand #1

Villain is 17/13/2/159 hands. The first hand I saw when I sat down he 3-bet someone with QQ. Is this an easy fold?

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1

Stack sizes:
Hero: $100
CO: $302.35
Button: $104.45
SB: $22.85
BB: $170.20

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

folding is fine. but don't tell anyone i said so...

calling is also fine. the villain stats suggest that he plays somewhat passivly post flop. call preflop. call flop without an over-card. fold to further action...i guess would be my standard line.

I call and see a flop, obv call on safe flop, and hopefully he checks turn.

I tend to call and c/c a safe flop, usually c/f the turn if he bets big again. Obv play for stacks if you flop a set or an OESD

I don't mind a fold here either. If you are going to play the flop unsure of anything, why invest any more? Just wait until you can play a hand more confidently.
If you do call, c/c and c/f if you face a larger bet or a scare turn card makes a lot of sense.
