Default whats wrong?

I crush my brothers live cash game.. but for the same stakes online i am def a fish. What gives ?

The people online are not 5 and 7 yrs old.

Hard to know for sure, but it is very frequently the case that live players are much worse at similar limits than online players, as a group. It may also be that you play differently live versus online, or are more prone to tilt online, or that you benefit a lot from reading people.

Live play is much loser than on-line play.

Live NL1/2 = Online NL.1/.25

It could also be the opposite. The players at his brother's game may be average players that have learned how to be tight but follow basic play. Maybe they are even weak/tight. They can be beaten by a good player.

Low stakes online players might be a bit more LAG and somewhat unpredictable resulting in high variance. If you try to bring the same game against these different players online you might be in trouble.

But like you said, it's hard to tell which is the case without analyzing the play in both games.
