If you think Villain's 3-betting range pre-flop is loose, you should consider 4-betting and then calling a shove. You don't have the odds to flat call for set value. Plus, if you just call and there are overcards on the flop (as in the example), it will be really difficult to know where you stand.
With no reads on his 3-betting range, I think this is a fold pre-flop. You said he was a standard TAG, and I put him on QQ+, AK until he shows me otherwise. |
