Many of you might not care, but here is my theory on OOT:

I feel many of us have been introduced to OOT via friends who play poker, who read/post on this site, and may have sent you the link to the 5 year olds thread or one of the many eccentric posts on this forum. Instead of using this site as the resource as it is/was meant to be, many of us use it as our own personal plaything. The posters that were here before us used this forum from anything to asking for advice about tipping, restaurants, etc. etc., and some of the very strange posters asked hypothetical questions that weren't about poker, but weren't really about anything at all, and a good time was had by all, because you really got to learn something about the people that were behind the strat posts. Now there's a bunch of poop and masturbation threads from kids that think saying "poop" on the internet is groundbreaking.

That being said, I know that a lot of my posts are from this forum and the Sports forum. I have also been posting a lot less in the past month, and trying to keep up in the STT forum a bit more. And it makes me appreciate this site that much more. I think this challenge gives you all the opportunity to do the same.

I think a lot of the better posters on the site that used to post here have stopped, or only post in threads started by the old guard.

I understand. But read back at some of the other responses, and you'll see why I posted that.
