i'm not sure i'd exactly call the ukuleles "comedy," nor would I consider you the arbiter of all things funny, GA [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

One of my favorite scenes in recent cinema is from "In the Line of Fire."

Clint Eastwood is asking a cab driver for a phone number. The cabbie says, "it's 1-xxx-UKELELE" and Eastwood is like, "what?"

Cabbie: "Well, every phone number makes a 7-letter word, and remembering the word is easier than remembering all 7 digits. So dial 1-xxx-U-K-E-L-E-L-E."

Clint: "But isn't ukulele spelled U-K-U-L-E-L-E?"

Cabbie: (sighing disgustedly) "I dunno, man. But the phone number is U-K-E-L-E-L-E."

Such a funny scene, especially coming in the middle of the third act of a tense thriller that has previously not had a lot of comic relief.
