Re: The effect of no booze at Turning Stone
I just stated it's a good game from second hand, I dont have the roll for 15-30 so I just play 100,200 and sometimes 300NL...with the 300 being very agressive and wild at times, 25 buck pre flop raises in 2-5 with 5 callers, etc....but rick keep in mind also, even if many 2+2'ers w/in distance, they wouldnt all go at same time, even if 2-3 good players at the table just need a couple loose calling stations, which from what I understand what magicmcq stated, it looks to have

Re: The effect of no booze at Turning Stone
Yeah, I was there last week (visiting family in the area) and it was more sober then an AA meeting. You can still drink, but you need to be secret about it. Don't come in with a 2 liter of coke and a bottle of grey goose and mix at the table. If you pre-mix your liquor in the parking lot or in your hotel room in a big water bottle or even those huge 64 oz soda mugs they sell at gas stations, you will be fine.
Yeah, TS is doing it's typical song and dance "We don't pay taxes to the State but we want the State to give us everything in return". New York State will not give a alcohol license to TS as long as TS does not pay taxes to the State. I am semi-confused on how TS can do anything it wants and not pay taxes, sell tax-free tobacco becuase it is on Indian land, but it needs a license from the State for alcohol. |
