Default River card comes and the donk donks into me

Villain is 43/23/5 over 200 hands. I've never played with him before and don't have much of a read. The table has been playing pretty passive, and i've been playing pretty wide open and taking down a lot of pots uncontested. I'm prepared to dump the hand at any stage if raised, but when he donks, i wasn't sure what course of action is bet. One word answers are fine, raise, call or fold?

I don't think he's bad enough to have KQ here, or AT fwiw.

Call>raise>>>>>fold. He only has $35 left, putting the rest of it in isn't bad. Pretty close I think between raising and calling, certainly don't fold. The more I think about it the more I want to raise actually but not much to choose between the two. Also, I'd bet more on the turn.

Yeah, it's close between calling and just putting him in - I'd lean toward call just so you can see what the donk bet means if nothing else.

That sounds about right, then you'd have a pot sized bet left for the river.

shove already, I don't think this is terribly thin. His line makes no sense for a boat, even for a donk. If he were fullstacked I'd consider minraising/calling.
