why are people talking about taxes in this thread? UIGEA has nothing to do with taxes. if you make money playing poker, you are already required to claim it.

the worst thing that might happen here is the sites passing off the extra costs of doing business down to the players in the form of higher rake (or less rakeback, bonuses etc.)

probably for the same reason that i see people playing electronic roulette within 10 feet of the roulette tables whenever i go to the casino
