right, because he doesn't bet the turn with a pair of Ks or a set. he wants to maximize fold equity on the river. yes, bad fold.

I don't fear a set on the turn, the only hand I fear is exactly KKK.

A very pertinent question: Are you two familiar with Teddy-KGB?

Please give stats as well as player name. I have only played teddy-kgb in tourneys and occasionally plo I think though I could be wrong there.

Sorry, I've got MrteddyKGB at 16/11, very uncreative, straight-forward NIT.

I agree I should have 3 bet the flop, and I'm gonna blame this one on the dry flop + 10-tabling.

Well I do think this changes things. If you can't see him doing this with anything other than KKK (e.g., he would never push with AK if he spiked the river), then it should be an easy fold. You should have overbet the pot with your flop lead. With his stats he often has an overpair and he won't get away if you go overbet/pot/pt.

Given your weak lead and the dry board, I don't think you need to reraise the flop against a nit. Donking turn for pot should get him, same as if you overbet flop.
