Default What to do with new member BluffB...

BluffB is a new member to the forums that appears to be doing little more than spamming a poker bot across the forums. I deleted this post from the Books & Publications forum...

I don't know if it's appropriate to advertise a personal website here, but to answer the question I have recently written a free mini-course on pseudo-optimal strategies for Heads-Up No Limit Holdem. You can get it by signing up for the free newsletter at: www.bluffbot.com

I went ahead and banned the account until a decision can be reached here. Please take a look at these posts and comment.

He doesn't look too new. I guess his strategy is to make one spam post a quarter.

Wow. I just looked at the post count and not the date.

No one thinks linking the bot download is bad?

He linked a site that linked to a commercial site; maybe that's cause for a ban. But I didn't think the academic discussion of poker AI was enough for the boot. This guy didn't give a link to any way to plug into an online site, did he? He just discussed the Poker Academy plugin, and that's a free download.

I've seen tons of mention of TurboTexasHold'em on 2p2. I think it's even in the Abbreviation Dictionary. That's a bot too. Ban?

I've been on the fence with this the whole time. I'm relying on popular opinion to settle this.
