Default 2007 WCOOP - Events Posted to Client

Hello there, MTTc...

The events for this year's World Championship of Online Poker have been posted to the PokerStars client. You can find them under the Events/WCOOP/Main Events tab. We invite you to have a look at them and tell us what you think!

After some time to consider all feedback received, we will re-deploy the events (with any modifications) to open registration and begin satellites.

I hope that everyone enjoys WCOOP, and look forward to some good discussion about this year's series of events!

All the best,

Bryan S.

have you guys considered starting the main event a little earlier (one or two hours). With the structure you have set up this tourney will last probably like 12-14 hours

I'll say it again ...

PLO tourneys should start deeper stacked than equivalent NHLE.

Case in point: $215 6-max NLHE and $215 6-max PLO both start with 3000 chips and similar blind structures.

Now, I love that I can play with 3000 starting chips and 30 minute levels, but this is still effectively much shallower than the NLHE event.

The PLO even will play faster than the NLHE event, and I think the PLO stacks should be moved up to 4000 or 5000.

Definitely. While I think 3k is kinda aight for the 6max event, the last one and maybe the PLO8 definitely should be a 5k starting stack.
