Censorship in american TV, WTF?!

I sent the OP a good link explaining why sometimes censorship is needed in a civilized society, and why we Americans pretty much by choice censor ourselves. Hopefully it gets the point across.

Not to derail this post any further, but I'm pretty sure if you took a poll of all the Americans that post on this board, the number that support the war is going to be pretty close to zero. Making sweeping generalizations about a group of people based on decisions that they had nothing to do causes you to lose what little credibility you had to begin with.
