check fold flop [/ QUOTE ] how do you c/f from in position? you're not really getting the odds to peel because this c/r usually means an ace that will bet the turn as well. with no other draws, i fold or semi-bluff raise if I think this is just a play to combat your c-bets. |

check fold flop [/ QUOTE ] he has position. i'm generally folding the flop but if i don't i'm (value)calling the turn and raising the river. river raise is because your hand is almost certainly best and we'd rather not show it down - but hey, if he calls, fine. i don't see him having a better hand than you on the river - probably a very small pocket pair. hard to say because i figure most players with stats in that range don't usually openlimp, but if they do, probably pocket pairs. his lame bluff failed, follow up failed and round 3 was just pathetic. donks who actually play flopped sets like he did on the flop and turn at least make a real river bet. |

[/ QUOTE ] you can't imagine him having an ace here? really? ok... as played, i definitely call the lame turn and river bets. but only because i'm getting such great odds (you probably have the best hand enough to call getting 7:1 and almost 8:1). |
