Trust me 30" Dell is the only thing you should have. It's just so much better. And 6tables is so nice without overlapping and all that stuff. Just normalsized 6tables on 1 screen, no hassle and the 2nd monitor is for websites, messengers, pt/pa and so on. I never want to use 1 Monitor again.

I asked in the investment forum, but they only have too deep book suggestions.

Do you know a book with which i can make the first step to investments?

[/ QUOTE ]it wouldn't even hurt to get something like investing for dummies. Either way, basic investing advice is:
invest for long term passive (buy and hold index fund strategy)
max out iras if possible (sep ira if you file taxes as a professional )
invest mostly in stocks while young.
invest with lowest expense ratios
invest with vanguard.
what vanguard funds? Either:

total stock market + total international stock market
or
target retirement 20xx

investing passively isn't too difficult actually.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think there is a way to shield potentially twice as much money using something else as opposed to the sep ira. i file as a pro and used a sep ira last year, but recently have been looking for more ways to save money from taxes. i'll post more when i get all the facts.

my friend has a FTP acct that he plays occasionally, but is not in his name(for Rakeback). now he wants to get off FTP, and he is worried that if he requests a wire, they will find out he has 2 accounts. when requesting a wire does FTP just use your account number, or your name as well? if anyone could help him out, I'd appreciate it- PM me if you want to keep it confidential. TY

my recommendation is just to transfer to the account thats in his name and request the withdrawal from there. FTP security doesn't seem to give a rat's ass what happens on their site unless someone complains.

nothing, it's just that 30'' is just so awesome. I love watching movies/tvshows, and playing games on it.

I said the same thing, but wouldn't FTP notice when a account that hasn't been used in months, requests a wire transfer or a large check?
