Holy crap!!! A perfect score so far?

That's insane.

And nah, I wouldn't really consider GNR metal, per se... but it's a way more popular/"heard of" band than bands like Slayer and Megadeth, and it's the closest of the well-known bands to metal, especially considering the image.

Crap, I have no idea why I put Lithuania instead of Ukraine.. almost perfect other than that so far.

Also, no votes for Pantera surprises me.. I had them down but switched it to Slayer right before I sent.

9. A British television series

This one was influenced a bit by how many Aussies were competing - I doubt any Americans even know what The Bill is. The classic of classics, Fawlty Towers, was right up there, but in the end the fundamentals of Sheep won out; keep it well known and keep it recent.

10. A synonym for the word "happy"

There was a tie for the top spot here. I thought half of the winners came up with a very reasonable word:

The rest of you are all very immature and should be ashamed.

12. A named Sea (not an Ocean)

I was expecting to see some votes for the North Sea, as well as a few more for the Dead Sea

Last question and Solanthos's gap is pretty solid, but Dudd is well within striking distance

13. A famous Australian, excluding Steve Irwin

Answers were actually pretty divided here. This is probably because Australia is awesome and there are tons of famous people from here.

Top honours were split. Depends if you think people get famous by marrying more famous people...

...or by punching people.

The people who put Olivia Newton John... SERIOUSLY? That's what comes to mind when you think about my country?

Nicole Kidman: 4
Russell Crowe: 4

Ian Thorpe: 2
Paul Hogan/Croc Dundee: 2
Mel Gibson: 2
Olivia Newton John: 2
John Howard: 2
Kevin Rudd: 1
Pat Cash: 1
Ned Kelly: 1
Shane Warne: 1

Final standings:

Solanthos: 147
Dudd: 141
WesleyC: 135

AlexM: 123
mustmuck: 123
BCarlisle: 116

The lack of action in the last round means SOLANTHOS is across the line! Nice work.

Nice that the top two for 13 weren't born in Australia.

5th isn't too bad I guess. Damn you Ned Kelly.

I was about to say Ned Kelly wasn't either, but it appears he was. Good thing all that agonising over Ned Kelly/John Howard/Kylie Minogue paid off.
