yeah seems like a really standard fold on the river. the only things that i see betting the river with any large frequency that we are ahead of is pure floats, and without a great read on the villain, i dont think we can ever call profitably here.

Imo most of the time he calls the flop when ahead, raises when behind.

I would expect him to try to pick up the pot with a worse hand on the turn, the river bet feels like value. I would fold without any history.

Good point. A flop call seems like monster or a medium strength hand that he suspects is WA/WB. Something like AK, KQs, JJ+, right? I guess I was thinking at the time that 88-TT were also very likely and dismissed AK because he didnt 4-bet pre or raise the flop. He also wouldnt turn these medium strength hands into bluffs, since they have lots of showdown value.

looks like a fold to me, I do not see many hands you beat that call on the flop and decide to value bet the river.

I'm pretty sure you are beat since the guys is TAGGY ...
