BEAT: PARTY ACCOUNT HACKED by "systour"

I'm using the word "hacked" lightly, cause i'm still fairly certain my computer is secure. I have no idea how someone got into my account, I use a password that is different than anything i've ever submitted online.

Anyways this all happened 5 minutes ago so i'm still on hold with Party phone support. Basically i'm just listening to music and get an email from party support claiming confirmation that a $200 transfer was made to a "systour". Whatever, its only $200 but the fact that he could get into my account is what i'm freaking out about.

I've got nod32 for antivirus protection which from what i hear is pretty good and not bloated like norton. Anyone know of anything else a should be using? No bloated software plz

i figured, because of how you said "only $200". don't you find it bizarre that he didn't transfer a larger amount? it's not like he can think oh, i'll just do small transfers at a time as not to get noticed- obv you'll get an email no matter how small it is. weird, gl though.

yeah i dunno maybe my transfer limit is 200 cause i've never used it i have no idea

I wouldn't give him too much credit. I think OP got lucky here, it sucks to have $200 stolen from you but I think it could have been a lot worse.

Apart from virus scans, I would run a few spyware checks (spybot s&d) as it may be a keylogger that gave him access to your account.
