Default Live 1/2 Hand #2

Seneca Niagara, 1/2 NL

BB seems solid, but it's very early in the session. MP, the exact same. Pretty tight table.

Hero has $130 and Villains cover.

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

MP limps, CO limps, Button limps, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($7) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, BB bets $7, MP raises to $22, others fold, back on Hero.

Btw, who leads here?

I lead here always. What was your plan when you checked, to c/r? Because I don't really like counting on someone to bet at this limped pot. And you have way too much hand to c/c.

As played, I'd probably fold. I doubt your K is good and you're not really deep enough to call. I guess shoving would be an okay bluff.

Also, why the short buyin? If its a capped buyin, I'm def looking to gamble early in a spot like this to build a stack.

Looks like a shove given stack sizes. B/3b also works nicely given stacks.

Fwiw, buy-in there is still limited to 50BB. Sweet.

I think we must first put MP on a range, no? Because our hand has shriveled into a plain old flush draw quite often.

yeah, obv shove, pray situation. I love the checkraise btw, since live players will often call a small bet with say, AXhh or KT and then put you in a weird situation on the turn. You've got FE and the best draw probably, like Henry Rollins says, STICK IT IN!
