Reid can't challenge within 2 minutes of the half. Has to be a booth review.

Obviously he was in, but that is exactly the kind of play they need to be reviewing.

[/ QUOTE ]

I really can't understand why everyone thinks it wasn't reviewed. You think the booth guys just went to lunch 30 seconds early? You don't think they looked at the replay a hundred times before the refs even gave an explanation of the flag?

[/ QUOTE ]

no, i don't.

the whole point of the replay booth system is to ensure that a play like this gets seen by the referee. it was by no means close on the field nor through several replays.

the nfl turns into a bunch of yes-men when they blow a call so i'm sure on monday if anyone asks, yes the booth man did his job and thought it was a TD instead of being asleep at the switch.

it should've been reviewed, period.

you're right, i didn't know that coaches can't challenge inside 2 minutes, but i am at least not so blind and deaf that i still think the issue was that his KNEE didn't get in. after the announcers talked about it twice and the replay clearly showed him dragging his foot.

lol at the 'mike vanderjaqt liquoured up kicker award' halftime show. gold.

Who would have thought it would be fun to cheer for the Eagles.

[/ QUOTE ]

Haha so true. I dont really care who wins but it would be fun to see the Pats nervous and challenged and pressured a little bit. The Colts game was fun as hell to watch.

[/ QUOTE ]

It pains me to say it, but I like Brady.

That said, IMO, he's been a whiney little bitch this year. I think he needs a little reality check. I'd like to see them lose their perfect season at home to a team that they should murder.

[/ QUOTE ]
what has he whined about?

why does he need a reality check?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not going to get into an argument about it because it's my opinion from what I've seen of him this year. I have seen several times where he's gone apeshit yelling at people... a side of Brady I've never seen until this year.

I think the great success so far this year is fueling his ego, something that wasn't there before. A reailty check in a loss would curb that aspect of him, which doesn't suit him at all.

[/ QUOTE ]
he was yelling at people the last 2 seasons.... during these past few seasons, several people have talked about "seeing a side of brady they've never seen before, yelling at people, etc"

explain why or you are full of it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't remember what game it was, but I have burnt in my head a game where they were up big in the 4th quarter and a WR appeared to run the wrong route causing an incomplete pass. Brady ran to him yelling at him all the way back to the huddle. Another time, he went apeshit on an o-lineman on a false start up big late in a game.

You just don't bigtime your teammates like that, no matter who you are. He has never done that before.

[/ QUOTE ]

what game? what quarter?

ive watched every pats game and have never seen or heard about this.

this is something the media would jump all over too.

it really sounds like you have no clue what you are talking about.

I'm not saying it wasn't a TD but its [censored] that wasn't reviewed.

[/ QUOTE ]

I may be wrong, but I bet the play WAS reviewed. It's just that the booth saw conclusive evidence before the PAT, so there was no need to stop play.

[/ QUOTE ]

that's what I figured as well, but it's way too obvious an answer. Clearly something wicked is going on here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Estimated time from TD to PAT? Thats pretty quick, but it is certainly possible. Wouldnt want to take a minute to be sure?

[/ QUOTE ]

About 30 seconds ?

[/ QUOTE ]

There was a flag on the play. Whatever fuels your fire, though.

[/ QUOTE ]

How long do you think it was? I rewound and counted.

Whatever fuels your persecution complex though.

wtf, that wasn't a catch right? i saw a replay and it looked like his knee was out and that both his legs weren't in, so no catch right?

pretty hilarious that all the pats haters have to cling to is a non-review of a play that was called correctly on the field.

I mean a TD is a TD. But it was close enough to not being one to warrant a look. It's not like the Pats need any more favors. That's all.

[/ QUOTE ]

the pats need about 4 games worth of "favors" to make up for the rigged Colts game.

I've never seen worse one-sided officiating in any game my entire life.
