Beal always did prefer playing heads-up, he's known as a good but not great player and has an unlimited bankroll. It would be great for online poker if Beal did start playing. One doubt I have is that Beal is a bank owner and the UIGEA has made online poker taboo in banking circles. But maybe he's rich enough that he doesn't care.
