Default FR - folding AQ from EP raiser standard?

No reads. Playing $2/4 straight hold em (not HORSE) for practice for my horse game.

I don't know if a fold is standard here. This isn't NLHE...

i raise aj utg always

here, it depends on reads on utg. generally, folding this here against tight or unknown players is a safe play.

folding is fine. 3betting is fine. calling is horrendous.

the key here is, when you don't know what to do pf in LHE but you know it's pretty close, your decisions are the easiest in the world. you fold. as it's been said before, discretion is the better part of valor.

AQo against an unknown's UTG raise in a FR game. Pretty sure the correct answer is fold. This is only 8 handed though so a 3-bet looks better than it otherwise would. It's obv a close decision. Calling no good though.

As for AJo UTG 10 handed, I think the correct answer is fold. AJo UTG 8 handed I think it becomes a raise. Obv another close decision. Calling no good again.

I personally frequently fold AJo and KQo UTG in 10 handed games. A raise certainly isn't horrible though, but I suspect raising has to be bordering on neutral EV and variance is going to be quite high.

AJo is a fold UTG 10 handed and a raise 9 handed.

Reads are important. Against unknowns I fold AQo, AJo, KQo and KJo.

About 2 weeks ago I folded AJo to a raise from a guy I never played with before and it was his 2nd hand. Flop came AAJ. {shrug} He showed down with K5s. If I get an open raise from him again, where I can isolate him and I'm holding AJo or even KJo I'm 3betting foe showa.
