[/ QUOTE ] If the guy who caught the ball brought a marker with him with the intent of marking the ball if he caught it, then I don't have much of a problem with it. But this guy bought the ball with the intention of defacing it, which I find to be disgusting.

Even if you hate bonds this ball is a part of history and Ecko is putting himself above all of that with his childish behavior.

Depends on the method of launch:
If some sort of super-cannon was going to launch the ball into space, then that's cool and I'd want that. But if it was gonna be kept in a spacecraft and dropped off on the moon along the trip, then just send it to the hall.
