Re: The Fate of #756 by Marc Ecko
Melt the ball down, put it into laxatives, give it to the posters in this thread, because a lot of you clearly have something stuck pretty far up your asses. Jesus christ. It's a baseball. Let him brand it, give it to the hall, shoot it into outer space, who gives a [censored]. But if people vote brand it then it gets branded, big deal. "disrespectful of tradition" and [censored]... come on get over yourselves*.
* - having read this forum for a while I don't actually expect any of you to get over yourselves |

[/ QUOTE ] If the guy who caught the ball brought a marker with him with the intent of marking the ball if he caught it, then I don't have much of a problem with it. But this guy bought the ball with the intention of defacing it, which I find to be disgusting. |

[ QUOTE ]
Ecko did not directly respond to Bonds' comments Wednesday, but said in a statement he would make Bonds a custom T-shirt that says, "Marc Ecko paid $752,467 for my ball, and all I got was this 'stupid' T-shirt.'" [/ QUOTE ] This is awesome. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't get how anyone would think marking the ball would be anything but disrespectful. Even if you hate bonds this ball is a part of history and Ecko is putting himself above all of that with his childish behavior. |

Re: The Fate of #756 by Marc Ecko
Depends on the method of launch:
If some sort of super-cannon was going to launch the ball into space, then that's cool and I'd want that. But if it was gonna be kept in a spacecraft and dropped off on the moon along the trip, then just send it to the hall. |
