Default Help me picking a Car

Hi Automobile-freaks,

I need your help!

Finally I decided to buy a car (this would be my first own car) because I can't stand it anymore to drive with the Renault Twingo of my mom.

Unfortunately I have no clues about cars and the only thing I can decide is "yeah looks good" and "nah, doesn't look good"

These are my favourites:

2003 BMW 325 Ci (Coupe)

front:

back:

2004 Audi A4

front:

back:

2004 Audi TT Coupe

front:

back:

2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK Coupe

front:

back:

All cars are between 15k and 30k

What is your pick? Any other suggestions?

If you're gonna get the TT, get a convertible. They rock IMO I have a BMW so I'm prob biased in that direction, but I really like the 3 series. I like the Benz too though. You should check out the SLK 230 Hardtop convertible, really sweet looking car.

I don't like the TTs, if you ask me, they're not driver's cars ...its like all the effort went into making them cool and stylish, and the whole driving thing was lost in the making.

The A4 is a def a good car, but it IS fairly boring these days.

I lean towards the Merc or the Beamer. Personally I think the Merc isn't as pretty as the BMW, but the Bmw look def. has an 'image' which can be viewed as very negative/positive depending on who you ask.

To better help you, you should include specifics, like price, mileage, condition, etc.

But assuming all of the specifics above are good, go with the BMW. Best reliability out of the three manufacturers, best looking car, most fun to drive, highest residual value of those listed...basically every general reason points towards the BMW.

I agree with rocket and his BMW comments, but the benzo is so much more pimp.

Audi TT sucks. It's just a Golf with a different body. If you're even a little bit tall, it will feel like you're wearing it for a hat.

Does it have to be German? You might consider a Boxster.

Keep in mind all of those are going to use a lot of fuel and be hard to park if you live in the UK.
