Sven,

While using eye on full tilt after a couple hours of use i notice a ton of instances of postgre being run on my comp, which starts to slow it down significantly to the point where i have to restart my comp (i can't end process cuz i play on a limited account for security reasons)

any thoughts on if spade eye can be programmed to close them after being done with them?

Sounds strange.

I doubt that EyePoker can kill the process, because EyePoker runs in your current Windows users scope, while the PostgreSQL process is running under another scope.

Also EyePoker has no connection to the real postgresql process. Even if i could kill the postgresql process i can not know which one to kill and which not (there are always a minimum of 4-5 processes running).

Can you stop and restart the postgresql server?
(usually under "Start"->"All Programs"->"PostgreSQL 8.x" available)

i'll have to try this when i get home, but let it be noted that i give eye admin privileges so that it can synch with full tilt (full tilt runs on admin privs as well)

i dunno if giving eye admin privs would allow u to control processes on other accounts (like postgre)

Version 2.42 is ready and i like it very much
http://www.spadeit.com/download.php

- Fixed a bug with an annoying error message regarding special characters when scanning the database.

- Added a new column (# Shortstacks) to the tableview.
One can now define below what stacksize a player counts as "shortstacked".
The number of shortstacked players gets displayed in the tablelist.
See "Main"->"Options"->"Profil" for more information.

- Added a new column (# tables) to the playerview.
The number of tables a player is currently playing at is now being displayed in this new column.
This should ease the identification of multitablers.

- The parameter "number of tables to open" for datamining gets now saved seperately for each pokerroom.
One no more need to change this value when switching between e.g. PartyPoker and FullTiltPoker.

Downloaded v2.42 and am only able to open 4 tables when data mining. When I go into options and change it to 12 it reverts to 4.

The $40 rego fee, is this a once off, with unlimited future upgrades (like PT, PAHUD), or is it a yearly fee?

Also, has anyone seen a tutorial, or a basic 'how to' guide anywhere?

How do i rate players from their PT stats vpip, pfr, agg f etc, into seperate classifications? I remember reading somewhere it can be done.

I can figure out how to just dump them all into my buddy list, but am at a loss as to how to fully utilise this program!

The $40 is a one time fee like PokerTracker or PokerAce.

You can not rate players with SpadeEye.
It has no scoring system.

You can rate the players in your Pokertracker DB and use the Pokertracker autorating in SpadeEye.

A small guide can be found here:

Feel free to contact me via ICQ (86080479) or AIM (MrSnoodSpadeEye) for instant help.
