As far as people saying anyone making even 100k from poker would be able to make the same amount of money in the corporate world is ridiculous. Not all top poker players are highly intelligent, and they certainly would not immediately start out at a comparable salary. It would take years and years of hard work to achieve the same earn, and think of the opportunity cost associated with such a sacrifice.
