BRAG: At the end of november i started to teach my best friend how to player poker and I gave him $200.. He had next to never played poker before. I gave him a simple strategy, I sweated a few session and looked over his HHs in PT, giving him advice the whole way. Anyway....Mid-jan, he gave me back my $200 and a $200 thank you as well and then kept grinding his roll.

Today he took his first shot at 100nl...and look how it went:

VARIANCE: I played for 45 mnis or so today, and still made more than him:

Ok, one of you guys get off your asses and find something that's balla then!

Side question: How much laundry is 40 pounds' worth? I just took in a bunch of laundry to get done (b/c ballas don't do their own laundry) expecting a pretty modest price at $1.30 per pound, and I was charged $54!! I'm really awful with judging stuff like weight/volume/distance so I don't really know if what I carried in weighed 40 pounds, but I was told on the phone that the 8 pound minimum was about 3 loads' worth, and what I brought in didn't feel like 15 loads' worth. For reference:

The sandal is a size 12 and provided for reference as to how big the containers are. Each container was slightly overflowing with densely packed clothes; would this actually measure out to 40 pounds?

goofy,

i have no idea. but 40 pounds seems like an awful lot, IMO. how often do you wash? i wash every 3 weeks or so and it's 2 large loads. so if 8 pounds is 3 loads, and i do 2 large (so we'll say 3 total) loads that's one load per week so you would have needed to wait 40 weeks since your last wash!?!?!?!

is my math right?

It's been about 1.5 months since I did laundry; I try to make it as infrequent as possible. I suspect the "3 loads" is referring to small loads since the machines at laundromats tend to be small.

Your math is off; one load per week = 8/3 pounds per load = 2.7 pounds per week = 14 weeks to accumulate 40 pounds.
