I felt like my guts would explode all through United 93, really let it go at the end.

The ends of SPR and the killing fields get me every time.

Wow almost 100 posts and not one flame yet. Is this a kinder gentler 2+2 or have I spent too much time reading BBV?

Yeah this whole thread is kinda creepy. The closest I have come to crying was Million Dollar Baby. Although for some reason I've also almost cried while watching random TV shows. I think I try to block it out when it starts coming so I don't feel like such a wuss. Maybe this thread will help me embrace my inner crybaby?

haha. I've never cried either. I sometimes get that lumpy feeling in my throat. Notably these movies:

gladiator
legends of the fall
titanic

Nope, I cried too. Robin Williams was fantastic in that movie.

The Iron Giant
Field of Dreams
Big Fish
Bridges of Madison County
Grave of the Fireflies
My Life
Forrest Gump
Shawshank Redemption

Looks like all the usual staples for me.

Oh, and Saving Private Ryan.

I'm confused by this one, because i don't remember it being particularly emotional. Which parts exactly?

Notably the part where Robin Williams talks about his wife and how wonderful she was and how she passed away.

The very end when Matt Damon leaves the note for Robin Williams b/c he's leaving.

Those are the 2 parts that made me tear up...can't speak for anyone else.

lost in translation
dead poet's society
forrest gump

I was close in godfather part II--"I was stepped over"

I think I'd let it out more but I used to watch a ton of movies with my guy friends who were very anti-crying.
