isn't this just a for-fun league, or is $100 a lot to most of you guys?

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh I dunno. I don't think many of the people are gamblors, so the stakes are probably reasonably serious for them. On the other hand, these are adults with normal jobs, not broke college kids...

I think you should win by forfeit, but then I'm a nit.

Especially considering they received the courtesy warning e-mail.

Also, they could have had a advantage by keeping those players from other teams, while waiting for any updates on injuries, who is getting the most carries, etc. before dropping the extras.

1) You should not complain when this gets moved to Sporting Events

2) You want bad. My league, the only person with veto power over trades is the commissioner and there seems to be no set time period for people to complain. So on Saturday, the commissioner trades Plaxico Burress away to get Marvin Harrison. And there's no way to protest the trade, because as soon as it is offered to him, he accepts both as the team invovled and as the commissioner.

...so on the river villain showed the fullhouse which beat my flush, but then flipped it over and turned it in the muck. Shouldn't I get the pot because he didn't table his hand?

Stop being a nit.

I don't have any sympathy for the guys who couldn't be bothered to fix their lineups, despite getting the warning emails. Unfortunately, there's always one or two people like this in every fantasy league. The trick is having a strong commissioner that puts his foot down to penalize guys like this.

Unfortunately, since you have the most to gain by these guys losing by forfeit, your complaints to the league will come off as self-centred whining. It's too bad that nobody else in your league seems to want to step up to complain as well.

If guys are putting up $100 and then can't follow the rules, well then then they are getting what they deserve.

I assume you only start 2 WR with no RB/WR or TE/WR flex? Cos if it's 3 or you have flexes, like on Yahoo, no way WR should be capped a 4.
