Default Five Songs- a Music Thread with Actual Music Inside

I've complained about least half a dozen times that the music threads in OOT almost always suck because there is no actual music to be found in them. It's just lame posting of lyrics or some other boring discussion.

Perhaps my complaints will just continue to be ignored. But, I thought I'd at least show how I'd like a music thread to start.

So, here are five unrelated songs. I tried to make them reasonably diverse.

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

Thank You by Dido

My Generation by The Who

American Woman by Lenny Kravitz

Why these five songs? I don't know. They only thing they have in common is that I like each of them.

Whenever I hear Dido's sample in the Eminem song it makes me think she could have worked so much better as a darker, trip-hop type singer. Her version of the song sucks. The rest are OK I guess.

OK, well here is Morrssey's new single, "You Have Killed Me." The hottest track of the year, I think. (Even better than "Another Sunny Day" by B&S).

Magenta - Gluttony

Magenta, formed in 2001, is a British Neo-Progressive group with female vocals. If anyone is willing to try something new, check them out.

i can't count.

here are some obscureish old punk songs that are great.

zero boys - i'm bored

the trend - zink tabletz
(this band formed in 1980, they were still in high school and looked like this. that gains extra cool points for me. the louder the better, they rock.)

la peste - better off dead

nipple erectors - all the time in the world

sudden fun - sudden fun

wasps - teenage treats

ivy green - troubles

psycho surgeons - horizontal action (one of my favorite songs ever)
