Early in the tourney, 10k effective 25/50 blinds. I didn't know who button was but I saw him talking to some internet players before the tourney, SB is connor (bigballz).

Nothing too significant has happened yet. There has been very little re-raising pf which is why I opened here.

UTG+1 I raise 33 to 150, Button Calls big ballz calls.

Flop 245 two clubs Checked to me, I bet 350 both call.

Turn Queen I thought Connor checked, i bet 1k and then find out he was just shuffling his chips and didn't check. He ends up checking I bet 1k button calls connor folds.

River is a blank (i think a 9) I check he bets 1300 I do what

Yea but I think there are quite a few missed draws in his range, not sure if he would bet bigger with them though.

Not that many hands he could vbet with (i doubt he ever bets jj/88 here). Maybe most likely is qx of clubs?

his small bet looks to much like a valuebet, i dont think he expects you to fold after firing two streets into two people. I fold. BTW it was nice meeting you briefly.

I would fold the river and probably check the turn.

I think it was a good spot to fire again.. dunno how much of it was just table feel but i was really confident connor was folding. I doubt the flop call by the button is that strong.

I was actually going to post this as an option, and I figured this was what you were getting at. I don't see check/calling being an option because even if he's weak you could still be behind, and if this is a thin value bet he could very likely fold to a river raise.

What's he getting to the river with and betting like this that can realistically call a raise from you after you double barreled and check/raise river? He's gonna be like FFFFFFF time to fold.

Was going to be my first response to Bond's post about it being a value bet, because it's a thin value bet and he like... almost always folds to a raise here I think. Then I decided against posting it because I didn't want to get berated.

What a river bet, definitely raise that ish. I think he definitely has post oak clubs and schwag pairs that will fold to a raise. I can't really decide on an amount though.

I think a c/r is really believable here. The whole time it looks like you are trying to price out draws, then when the draws brick you check to give a missed draw a chance to bluff then take him to clown town.
btw I was going to c/r turn if dpeters didnt come along but he made it pretty easy
