Default Villain raises river after checking turn through

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $391.05
BB: $326.40
Hero (UTG): $237.65
MP: $200.00
CO: $211.00
BTN: $229.80

Reads: Villain is 19/15/3 through 1K. royalsu for those who play on Stars. The most recent hand we played together he called my btn open in the bb w/ 66. He c/c Q87 two flush board, and never bet again. I checked it down w/ AT and rivered a ten. He plays ok from my estimation despite that I hate the way he played 66 there.

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $8.00, MP folds, CO calls $8.00, 3 folds

Flop: ($19) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $14.00, CO calls $14.00

Turn: ($47) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks

River: ($47) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $24.00, CO raises to $80.00,

He did instacheck the turn fwiw and I do realize my river bet is awfully thin, but we do know villain is calling my cbet super light.

i would check/fold river. he called your raise preflop and thus, he has to have some hand. he then called your cbet, even though he may lightly call it he called it with a KK6 board with a flush draw. So, he's either on a draw and or he's shown that he doesn't think you have K. His range, given what you have said, is quite wide...i doubt he's playing anything less than a pair...i'm thinking anywhere from AK to small pair.

As played, I fold to the river raise. I would go for a c/c on the river I think.
