Glenn Beck show tonight

Who else is watching it? Its basically an hour of clips from Middle Eastern media. Pretty interesting stuff, some of it quite scary. Its on CNN at 7/9/12 Eastern time. I will be handing out a quiz tomorrow.

If you want to call showing viewers some of the filth that saturates Middle Eastern TV fearmongering, sure. Did you study for the quiz, Canis?

I didn't get the chance to see the clips that Glenn Beck showed tonight, but this post does beg the question: Are links to clips from Al-Jazeera, Al-Alam etc... "acceptable" in this forum? Many of the things said on these "news" programs and channels can easily lead to hatred or persaude someone to "hate."-- either by believing or being disgusted by what they are preaching.

I thought the debate between the guy that thought the holocaust didn't happen and the guy that said it did and was a good thing was intellectually stimulating (I don't know if that's one of his clips, but it was on Al-Jeezera).

I'd tread carefully as far as those type of links go. Though I personally don't have an objection, this isn't my site, and Mason has made it clear that he doesn't condone those types of posts. I'm willing to go to bat for people who clearly arent posting in a way to "inspire hate", I'm not feeling bullish on my chances of winning that battle.

You're crazy if you think that Glenn Beck's show is anything close to "objective" journalism. As far as filth in the media, which is more deplorable, brown people advocating killing white people, and having no capability of doing it, or white people advocating killing brown people, and then doing it 50,000 times?
