Default NL50: 3 bet by BB after Raising w AA (he thinks I am stealing)

Villain is 20/7/2.4 over about 100 hands and folds BB to steal 67% of the time.

I was stealing at 39% and playing 16/11

When he 3 bets me here, is it best to just call his 3 bet and Raise the Flop after his cbet or 4 bet him. With posn, i think this is a viable option.

I usually call and play poker on the flop but I don't think that a 20/7 is 3 betting light at all or going to fold to a 4 bet to say $16($24 is way to much imo). I don't think 4 betting is bad though.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

How would you play the hand? 4 bet pf or try to stack him on the flop as he could be 3 betting me here pretty light.

I don't know. He may raise any2 to protect his blind but question is how far he may go defending his blind?

I think I probably just call because protecting opponents usually fold to 4 bet unless they have good hand. If they have good hand (premium pocket pair, AK) you usually can stack them on the flop anyway. But if you call, they may lead flop any2, even they completely missed the flop. Also if they are protecting their blind hand as K9 and flop is KXX, you can stack them on the flop but usually they fold preflop to 4bet.

So, I think calling maximize your EV in stealing situation. Correct me, if I am lost.

If you don't 4-bet here, you can pretty much never 4-bet this guy. That said, calling might get you more value. I like to 4-bet, though, because it's fun. Also I do it with AK ----

Also, with an ATT to steal of 39%, he might shove over you if you 4-bet to say $17. He could reasonably expect to have some FE there.

I like a "call, shove over his CB" line. Money is going in the middle anyway, so why not give him the chance to think he has the best hand and then put him to a tough decision?

I call.

Steal, re-steal, re-re-steal whatever - A full ring player still doesn't 5-bet all-in with worse than AK/QQ and still might muck the lower 60% of that range anyway. For a lot of FR players, a 4-bet folds out everything but KK+.
