I think the linesmaker is basically assuming that Santana will be traded for prospects and that the Twins will ship in 2008 as a lost year.

presuming they don't go real deep on the trade they'll have an equivalent/better team afterward. Especially in a BOS/NYY bidding war. I'd wait on the trade to happen because the odds would probably get even higher.

If the Brewers could aquire an arm or two to go with a (sometimes) healthy Sheets and Gallardo, that young offense could take them places.

FWIW, Bodog posted 2008 WS odds. At first glance, none of these look better than the ones on The Greek (although the Greek didn't have all teams), but this might be helpful for someone who only has money on Bodog:

Arizona Diamondbacks 20/1
Atlanta Braves 20/1
Baltimore Orioles 80/1
Boston Red Sox 5/1
Chicago Cubs 12/1
Chicago White Sox 20/1
Cincinnati Reds 60/1
Cleveland Indians 10/1
Colorado Rockies 20/1
Detroit Tigers 10/1
Florida Marlins 50/1
Houston Astros 30/1
Kansas City Royals 100/1
Los Angeles Angels 12/1
Los Angeles Dodgers 10/1
Milwaukee Brewers 20/1
Minnesota Twins 15/1
New York Mets 17/2
New York Yankees 6/1
Oakland Athletics 20/1
Philadelphia Phillies 12/1
Pittsburgh Pirates 100/1
San Diego Padres 20/1
San Francisco Giants 60/1
Seattle Mariners 25/1
St Louis Cardinals 25/1
Tampa Bay Devil Rays 100/1
Texas Rangers 30/1
Toronto Blue Jays 20/1
Washington Nationals 150/1

How are the odds on the White Sox and Blue Jays the same as the odds on the D-backs, Rockies, Braves, and Brewers?

Doesn't appear to be anything good there, although Florida at 80/1 seems way off (higher) than other sites that have it around 50/1. Detroit at 16/1 also seems like a decent price.
