What is the all-time td passes single game record, and points scored?

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
The most TDs a quarterback has thrown for in a game is 7 and has been done 5 times:

1) Sid Luckman, Chi. Bears vs. N.Y. Giants, 1943
2) Adrian Burk, Philadelphia vs. Washington, 1954
3) George Blanda, Houston vs. N.Y. Titans, 1961
4) Y.A. Tittle, N.Y. Giants vs. Washington, 1962
5) Joe Kapp, Minnesota vs. Baltimore, 1969

FWIW I am not in the camp that thinks NE should just take it easy and put in backups, etc. I do, however, think that going into the hurry up with 90 seconds left in an obvious blowout, pulling out trick plays to make an already demoralized opponent go suicidal, etc etc etc is somewhat douchy. Just run the ball and grind some clock.

BB is drilling the two minute offense obv.

I don't know if you are joking here but this is a super valid reason, they have to practice this stuff at some point in a real game, it isnt their fault that no one can hang with them.

[/ QUOTE ]

ugh I realize your a Boston fan and all but I really don't understand how anyone can validate not kneeling the ball down at this point. I obv meant every coach besides Bellichick (sp.) I do think that he does kneel the ball if it weren't for spy gate and [censored] like that. If he continues to do this in the 4th quarter, it is just plain down scumbaggery and I don't care what you Boston fans think.

Fake spike when you're up 28 near the half. Nice. They really needed to do that.

Brady's going to go for like 8 or 9 today if he wants it. This is just wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]
its PROFESSIONAL football the Pats don't need to let up in the first [censored] half. General rule of thumb should be that you can go balls to the wall for 3 quarters.

[/ QUOTE ]

why are you correcting a dumb point with an even dumber one. you can and should play your toughest for 4 quarters and the only people who will have a problem are the dumbasses in the 'pats running up the score' thread.

It's a division game against a long time rival that has given us problems historically and recently. Being "somewhat douchey" just has to be allowed at this point.
