Default 50 NL - Villain pushes my bottom 2 pair on the turn

Villain is unknown, I just sat down.

I often limp after a min-raise with SCs like this on the button when there are a lot of people in the pot. I know most people prefer to raise or fold, but I will (not often, however) play this kind of hand this way PF.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $38.75
BB: $27.30
UTG: $55.85
MP: $51.60
CO: $37.40
Hero (BTN): $49.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $1.00, MP calls $1.00, CO folds, Hero calls $1.00, SB folds, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($4.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
BB checks, UTG bets $2.50, MP folds, Hero raises to $7.00, BB folds, UTG calls $4.50

Turn: ($18.25) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG bets all-in for $47.85, Hero...?

Does villain do this with anything less than 2 pair (one that beats mine)? I'm getting a little over 2:1 to call with 4 outs to improve. UTG did min-raise PF, so I'm thinking it could he likely has either a large PP (AA or KK) or decided that to randomly donk min-raise PF. Can I find a fold here or should I call?

I would raise more on the flop, this isn't even a pot sized raise.
meh I would fold, wait for a read that he is a spewtard and does this with Ax

[/ QUOTE ] Without a read applying Baluga theorem here means our best result is a chop and a fold is best.

[/ QUOTE ] looks like 3:2, no. Outs may well be 0-2 here.

Preflop is fine but I don't think we're good enough of the time on the turn to make this a profitable call.

I would fold this. He could possibly have AK or even Ax, but I'm not putting my stack up to find out and, like you say, you only have 4 outs if he does have you beat on the turn. I think 9 times out of 10 this is at least a better 2 pair.

I put him on A8 actually, because i've seen people doing a min-raise early with A-rag. It might be AA.

I'd fold here, wait for a better spot, but post results if you called, because i wanna know what those retarded moves mean.

Preflop is perfect.

Flop raise is too small. $8.5-9 is better

I call the turn. It's an improbable line for him to take with 2 pair or better; big hands tend to trap and make callable bets, not overbet-shove. I usually see a hand like T9 or a panic-shove from QJ, hoping the A is a scare-card.
