Default Rank top ten assets on your NBA team

I'm bored. Thought this was kind of interesting. Disregard salary. Even though Al Jefferon only makes 2.48 million this year, he obviously will cost a lot more in the future, so he's not exactly a deal.

The only two considerations should be age and talent.

Celtics

1. Al Jefferson, PF
2. Paul Pierce, SF
3. Ray Allen, SG
4. Rajon Rondo, PG
5. Ryan Gomes, PF/SF
6. Kendrick Perkins, C
7. Tony Allen, SG/SF
8. Gerald Green, SG/SF
9. Glen Davis PF/C
10. Gabe Pruitt PG/SG

This is a good way to look at team depth. With Tony Allen still coming back from surgery, shows me that Celtics are really only 6 deep with actual NBA talent. This is not good. If people could all do their own home teams that would be cool.

1. Kevin Martin
2. Ron Artest
3. Mike Bibby
4. Spencer Hawes-Played very well in Summer League plus only 19.
5. Brad Miller
6. SAR
7. Justin Williams
8. Kenny Thomas
9. Salmons
10. Mikki Moore

Not really excited about anyone on the team. I like Ron Artest and Kevin, otherwise I really don't like the rest of the roster all that much.

Warriors

1. Andris Biedrins, C
2. Baron Davis, PG
3. Monta Ellis, PG
4. Stephen Jackson, SG/SF
5. Al Harrington, PF
6. Marco Belinelli, SG
7. Brandan Wright, PF
8. Kelenna Azubuike, SG/SF
9. Stephane Lasme, SF/PF
10. Patrick O'Bryant, C

What this tells me is wow, we had a lot of FA this offseason. It also tells me that when we cross off #'s 3,7,10 off this list in a few weeks and add #3 Kevin Garnett, PF/C that we'll need to add some players to this list.

Over-reacting a little from summer league? Would you really prefer to put B-Wright in a deal than Marco?

That's my only complaint about your list. Otherwise, I like.

Disregard salary? That kind of defeats the whole point. A lot of a player's value comes from his salary , the length of his deal, and his tradability.

Larry Hughes is not a bad player, and at his old rookie salary he would be a tradable player. Making 14M? Not so much.

Well I took your original post to mean right now, in terms of age and talent, who is more important to your team. Right now Belinelli can run, shoot the 3, and handle the ball all very impressively. All of the utmost importance in Nellieball. In terms of whose future is brighter, I would take Wright (but it's closer than I think I originally thought), but right now, Marco is a much bigger asset to this team (and anyway Wright is shipped off in couple weeks when the 30 days are up).

NYK

1. David Lee

2. Zach Randolph
3. Eddy Curry
4. Stephon Marbury
5. Nate Robinson
6. Jamal Crawford
7. Quentin Richardson

OK, I cannot do this anymore. I would like to just cut every single player on this team except David Lee.

Milwaukee

1. Michael Redd
2. Andrew Bogut
3. Mo Williams
4. Charlie Villanueva
5. Bobby Simmons (could go as high as 2/3 if he proves himself healthy)
6. Charlie Bell (assuming he resigns)
7. Yi Jianlian (assuming only his trade value)
8. Dan Gadzuric
9. David Noel
10. Lynn Greer/Ramon Sessions

This will likely change quite a bit as the Bucks still have a lot of offseason moves they need to finish off.
