Default TAG vs. LAG & PokerTracker Stats

If recently covered elsewhere I apologize in advance.

What VPIP/PFR do you consider TAG in 6-max? LAG? Obv open to interpretation. Also, I realize that it is much more important to understand what a 26/20, 33/3, or 18/15 player means to me than whether someone would call them Tight or Loose Aggro.

Thx

Depends on the stakes & whether it's NL or limit.

For small stakes (online) limit 6max, I consider TAG to be a VPIP of around 16-24, PFR around 6-8 points below their VPIP, and (postflop) AF to be 2.5+. I consider LAG to be any significantly higher VPIP accompanied by aggressive stats in PFR and AF.

Most (all?) of the strategy forums have an FAQ post stickied at the top, and most of those contain a table or link breaking down what numbers are generally considered "good" for those games. "Good" meaning TAG.

Any reasonable pre-flop style can be a winner if you play good post flop. If you are not an experienced player, being on the nitty side of the TAG spectrum (VP$IP<20%) is probably going to give you the best chance at making money (unless you are playing with really weak opponents).
